It's hard to believe that we are almost at the end of the DECADE! I wanted to look back and share some highlights from 2019. It truly was a year filled with joy and love. I hope you'll share some of your highlights as well!
This year, I continued to build my web presence and photography skills through local workshops and webinars. I recently expanded my services to provide pro-bono pet portraiture and special event support to both Verde Valley Humane Society and Humane Society of Sedona. Each year, I consider these organizations and other animal welfare organizations for year-end giving in the spirit of our original mission here at Penny Lane Photography. I love being able to use my talents and treasures to advance their efforts and help animals find loving homes.
Penny and I have enjoyed learning new tricks and networking with new friends. Next week will be 4 years that sweet Penny has been a part of our family! As my photography business's namesake and one of my key subjects, she really is a central part of our lives. Please join us in celebrating her "gotcha day" on December 28th!
With some of my incoming revenue, I was so excited to have the chance to upgrade my gear! I spent many hours considering different Canon cameras and lenses as well as debating a switch to Sony, but I am so happy with my final purchase and I am excited to be able to provide better prints and albums through a quality camera, state of the art software, and hours of hard work in artistic work and editing.
I also worked with many incredible clients this year. I was honored to be able to provide headshots, family photos, pet photography, and event photos to some of my dearest loved ones and some fantastic new friends. Check out some of my favorite images on my Facebook or Instagram pages! I am grateful to those of you who consider me for your photography needs and I am absolutely honored to be able to provide fine art for your Christmas cards, annual calendars, framed pieces and other decor. Professional photography is an incredibly important art form and I take it very seriously.
As I begin making plans and setting business goals for 2020, I want to thank you for your investment in my journey, and look forward to celebrating many more milestones in the future! Until then, a very happy holidays to you and yours!
Warm wishes,
Kristy Meyers
